Wedding Day Shoes

.
.
Most brides spend weeks or even months trying to find the perfect wedding dress and accessories. Some brides even have their dresses made for them by a custom tailor. Most brides often forget their wedding shoes until the last minute, which is understandable considering all of the other things you have to do on your list. But ladies please don't forget your feet! Many mistakenly believe that no one will see their shoes. Not so! Exotic shoes can make great photo ops. Also remember that your shoes do not have to be white just like your dress, some of my favorite wedding photos have brides wearing hot pink or animal print shoes.
As you may consider custom wedding dress, the bride should also consider custom-made wedding shoes. Having your wedding shoes custom made for you means that you can choose your perfect heel height, material, style, such as feathers, pearls, crystals and flowers of any decoration.  Arbie Goodfellow is a custom shoe designer based out of Michigan. As you can see from the photos below she creates gorgeous shoes for weddings or any special occasion. My favorite little detail is the embellishments on the bottom.  Arbie handpicks all of her ribbons and embellishments during her travels through Europe.
I have selected some of my favorites from her website; however there are tons of shoes and other accessories. Please visit Arbie’s website at http://www.arbiegoodfellow.com I hope you enjoy looking at these art pieces as much as I do.

Us

So for my first blog entry I think it is only appropriate to share with you my wedding story. My husband John and I were married on April 17, 2009. As funny as this sounds we actually met in THE wedding chapel at Mandalay Bay...no I did not steal a groom or best man. He worked for the company that built the chapel. John proposed to me on December 21, 2007 and I couldn't have asked for a better proposal. He involved my then 5 year old daughter Jade by having her give me a Teddy Bear with the engagement ring tucked away in a pocket in the bear. It is a day that I will never forget and that has truly changed my life for the better.

Our wedding ceremony took place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Summerlin.

The reception was held at Sienna Golf Club. The atmosphere of the Bistro is amazing and requires little decor. It was the absolute perfect location for my dream wedding. Millie Adams the Catering Director was amazing to work with.

Fun times!

All in all it was a great evening filled with great food, company and music! My advice to those of you planning your wedding is to enjoy every minute of the event that takes so much time and hard work to plan. Don't dwell on the small stuff, in the end it is about you and your significant other celebrating your unity. Trust in others to help you plan so that you can relax and enjoy your day! I have so many wonderful photos to share, I just can't fit them in to one entry!

9 months after the wedding we welcomed the newest addition to our family, Johnny!
